Even though I don't have a loved one at this facility, I could tell the staff are very attentive and care about the residents. Melinda and Linda are amazing, wonderful people. They call people by name, even those visiting the facility. They are so positive and friendly and make people feel right at home.
It is a beautiful facility and they had such a wonderful light hors d'oeuvres spread prepared for the event.
I loved meeting and talking with the residents who were part of the book club. There were also several other residents who attended the book signing and presentation.
I would highly recommend this facility for your loved one, as the staff are very attentive, and go the extra mile to provide personal service and care.
Unfortunately, he just didn’t have that much time left. The last several weeks, his care shot up, he truly couldn’t clean, eat, or do much of anything. That’s when the care staff REALLY stepped up. They kept his meds straight, kept the Hospice folks engaged and informed, kept US informed and most importantly kept Dad comfortable. Everyone of the nursing staff hugged and loved on Dad, especially after cleaning him up. They worked as a superbly well oiled team, maintaining his dignity and ensuring he knew the family was there and they were there for him. Dad passed peacefully, with dignity and surrounded with love.
I just can’t say enough about the level of care Dad received. He stepped out of this world without a care or worry.
We are forever in the Waterview’s debt.
